About the Course
This 3 hour class is held in the back 2 rooms of 2B. Students will have 3 40-min learning blocks with 15 min snack and playtime breaks in between each class. Each week, they will spend their first class period learning about ancient history using History Quest Early Times as a spine. Their second class will focus on handwriting, sentence writing and creative writing skills, and will contain both written work and centers and games. Their third class will be a hands on science class, with different topics and experiments each week. All classes will have a 9-week schedule with topics and suggested continued learning. Digital versions of the curriculum we're using will be available on the website for enrolled students.

Ms. Amanda
Ms. Amanda has been a CCL parent for several years. Her 2 older children have attended classes since 2023 and her youngest son joined our 4-7yr old nature class on Thursdays in 2025. Ms. Amanda is kind, patient and creative, making her a perfect fit to teach our youngest learners on both Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the 25/26 school year!
