🎉Wrapping Up Year 3 at CCL 🎉

Can you believe it? The end of the school year is already here! We’re wrapping up our THIRD amazing year at our homeschool hybrid program, and it's been such a great one! We have had more students this year than ever, and added a second space in our building to spread out more (and add more classes!). Next year we'll run FOUR groups for kids aged 5-14 (k-2, 2-4, 4-6 and 6-8) during our normal T-Th 9:30-2:30 times. Whether you’re a current family, thinking about joining us, or just curious about what we’ve been up to, here’s everything you need to know as we head into summer and prepare for the fall.

🌞 Summer Classes Are Back!

Looking for a fun and engaging way to keep the kids learning this summer? We’ve got you covered! Our summer classes are scheduled for:

  • June 10–12

  • June 17–19

  • July 22–24

We’ll have daily classes in Art, Science, Math/Reading, Coding & Games, with kids split into two age groups: 5–9 and 9–13.

Cost: $200 for the first week, then $180 per week after that.

Limited space remains, so don’t wait too long to secure your child’s spot!

🍂 Planning for Fall – Enrollment Now Open!

We’re already planning for an exciting fall semester! Here’s what you need to know:

  • Enrollment fee: $50 per day per child (for the year)

  • Due by: June 1st to hold your spots

  • Semester 1 payments: Due by July 1st (or at least 1 day if splitting payments)

Please note: Spots are NOT held without payment, so be sure to submit your enrollment fees soon!

📚 Notebooks for Fall

We’re preparing bound notebooks for our Fall 2025 classes! Kids will have a notebook for each 9 weeks for each day they attend. It will be filled with all of the work they'll be completing in and out of class, and will go back and forth between home and school each day so that parents can see what kids are doing and be sure they're keeping up with expectations. These will be ready for pickup starting July 22 for any interested families, or can be picked up the first week of school August 5th-7th.

Thursday students in the 2nd–8th grade groups will have chapters to read for their first novel and reflection questions to fill out before the first class on August 7th, so be sure to at least read the first book's chapters this summer if your child comes Thursdays!

💙 Step Up, PEP, and UA Funds

If your child receives Step Up for Students PEP or UA funding, you can pay directly through the marketplace for enrollment and tuition. If you’re newly awarded for the 25/26 school year, remember that your enrollment and first semester fees will need to be paid out of pocket. Once you’re funded (funds usually show up in early September), you can submit receipts for anything paid after July 1st for reimbursement. Please note that "Awarded" and "Funded" are not the same thing, and it does sometimes happen that awarded families do not receive funding their first year. Never sign up for things that would be a financial burden if your child does not receive funds.

🙌 Looking for 2025 Helpers

We love what we've created at Creative Connections, and we’re always looking for ways to make it even better! For 2025, we’re looking for parents to help organize field trips, meetups, and end-of-semester parties. We’re looking to add a regular 5th teacher on Tuesdays and Thursdays – this is a paid position (requires a background check) and will involve greeting students and parents at arrival, floating around and helping out in classes as needed, subbing any classes where a teacher is out, prepping work for teachers as needed, and cleaning and organizing our spaces when not needed in classes.

If you’re interested in helping out or know someone who might be a great fit, please reach out!
