Academic Assessments
When a child is struggling, or traditional grade levels do not tell the full story, it can be difficult to know what to teach next. Our one-on-one academic assessments identify current skills, specific learning gaps, and appropriate next steps in reading, language arts, and math.
Families receive practical, easy-to-understand feedback designed to support instructional planning, curriculum selection, and tutoring decisions.
What We Assess
Language Arts assessments may include decoding, spelling and encoding, reading fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, morphology, and written language.
Math assessments examine foundational skills such as number sense, computation, fact fluency, place value, fractions, and mathematical problem-solving. Skills assessed are adjusted based on the student’s age, instructional level, and performance during testing.
What You Receive
Following the assessment, families receive a written summary that includes:
-
Current areas of strength
-
Skills that are developing or need direct instruction
-
Recommended instructional priorities
-
Practical next steps, programs, or resources
-
Tutoring or specialist referral recommendations when appropriate

The goal is not simply to assign a score. It is to provide a clear, manageable plan for moving forward.
Cost: $150 per subject area
